Educational Programme Planning Assistant

An exciting opportunity has risen for an organised and committed educational programme planning assistant to join the international and friendly team at CIRSE, the Cardiovascular and Interventional Society of Europe.

This would be the ideal role for a motivated candidate who is looking for the opportunity to gain experience within the field of medical education and to contribute to the development of CIRSE’s growing online educational portfolio as well as to the programme planned for the Society’s congresses and courses related to the field of interventional radiology.

• Administrative support to the Society’s educational programme committees
• Planning, coordinating and executing educational programmes
• Support and drive implementation of new educational initiatives
• Evaluation of options to improve CIRSE’s educational offers
• Preparation and organisation of meetings (in-person and virtual), including follow-up activities
• Correspondence and cooperation with faculty and congress attendees
• Liaising with IT suppliers and other external stakeholders

• Previous internships or work experience in the field of education and programme planning desirable
• Experience with online applications in the field of adult education (e.g. Moodle)
• Excellence skills in working with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of html is desirable
• Fluency in written and spoken English (knowledge of German language desirable)
• Strong organisational, analytical, time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to organise and moderate in-person and online meetings
• A good team player, service-oriented, with a proactive mind
• Interest in medical education

• The minimum starting salary is € 2,000 gross, whereas an overpayment is possible based on the qualification and experience of the candidate.
